A Double Seal at a Land's Start
A Cornwall, for there is more
than one, places eroded

mountain-blocks against
a January sea's back &

forth shift of cold water. A

seal-pair linger amongst white
brine's sprayed breaths; twig

-thick whiskers electric through
crystal-laden mist. Salt-dew

beads blunt blubber-blooms
of seals' faces. Across

black & marmalade granite brine,
through ozone, squeaks

& crunches. A duo
of seals levitates nocturnal

depths. Seals'

opaque polished disks beseech
their seeing: suck

the light of my land-lubber's love
into a shock

-ingly cold beautiful depth. A double
act, a seal couple of

oblong mutt-snouts periscopes sniffs
of curiosity. Perhaps seals covet

my legs' agile locomotion over rocks. I
covet a slippery

erotic grace of seals' twizzling
through deadly glass.
